Third baseman Mike Cuddyer ripped 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Scott Baker
went the distance as the Minnesota Twins destroyed the Cleveland Indians by a
score of 17 to 3 at Metrodome.

Cuddyer enjoyed a fine day at the plate. He smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly'
in the 1st inning and belted a three-run homer (his 16th of the season) in
the 6th inning. Minnesota bats were hot in the 1st inning when they had 5
runs on 4 hits, the 6th inning when they had 5 runs on 4 hits and the 8th
inning when they had 5 runs on 4 hits. Minnesota banged out 17 on the
afternoon.

The win was credited to Baker(2-1) who went the whole way allowing 3 runs.
Jake Westbrook(9-9) suffered the loss.
